This state practically reeks with dominionism. We've seen bills that would provide state collection of funds for Dobson's Focus on the Family, we've seen strong attempts to eliminate the separation of church and state, and it keeps on going on. The Voucher bill is especially troubling, as while they're trying to fund private (religious) schools, at the same time they're cutting more and more from the education budget. They've already cut higher education to the bone- and now trying to chip out bone as well. A politician once said that higher education should be "market driven"- obviously with money going to those programs that Big Business wants. I think that we're seeing an attempt to kill public education. There are already rumbles that they want higher education so only those who can afford it out-of-pocket can attend. Primary and Secondary education has also always been a target- can't expose the kiddies to anything not approved by their masters (dominionist preachers and the big business moguls behind them), you know!!!
