Hal Lindsey Implies the Need for Arab Detention Camps

The Feb. 6, 2010 Hal Lindsey Report had its usual hard right slant to current events.  It is quickly noted that Lindsey is not a friend of the current administration in the nation.  He has a long history of attacking President Obama and often complains that the President has a secret agenda to harm the Christian faith.
On Saturday Hal Lindsey caught us up on our history lessons.  He reminded us that after Pearl Harbor in 1941, the government set up detention camps for American Japanese citizens.  Lindsey politely excused imself, then insinuated we ought to consider doing the same things with the followers of Islam in the nation.  He reminded us that in the attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan targeted miliitary settlements.  In 9/11, the terrorists attacked citizens, thus they were committing an even graver assault on America.
Lindsey , who has been divorced and married at least four times, lamented the "insane restrictions today" placed on government officials who desire to defend the nation against Muslims.  He repeated his theme that we were too politically correct.  He has stated that Obama wants to make Islam the official religion of the country.  Hal went on to condemn our government for not using torture, although he stopoped short of using the word.  He blamed a "liberal government" for closing the prison that housed these terrorists.
Lindsey stated that our President "extols the vitures of Islam".  Hal warned the country that what is taking place in England is a rebellion of citizens against a Mulsim takeover of the country.  He warned it was too late in England but hopes it is not too late in our nation.
One irony is that we now have a Religious Right leader suggesting detention camps.  Glenn Beck has been warning his radio audiences that our government all ready is setting up camps for honest decent people like them.  It has been a decades long rumor amidst the militia and end-of-times folks that our nation is going to set up detention camps for Christians.  The fact that one of their own is suggesting such an idea for Muslims is interesting.
Dr. Timothy Weber's book, Living in the Shadow of the Second Coming, chronicles a long list of connections Lindsey has with right wing elements in the nation.  Lindsey has advocated that the Council on Foreign Relations is a front to accommodate Communists in the country.  He has been a long time advocate for increased military spending. He has had direct access to political leaders in the nation's capital.  Just how much influence he has around the nation might be a topic of interest.

The video can be seen on www.hallindsey.com under video 1/29/2010   Hal does say "he is not suggesting such" camps. Mentioning the camps along with his video appears to be taking has political correct case too far to his followers.

Hal Lindsey has been wrong about pretty much everything he has ever said and this blustering is no different.
Evangelical Christianity has lost its way if people like Hal Lindsey are its spokesmen. A 'Christian' who condones torture is not a follower of Jesus, IMHO.

On the other hand, he has a really nice mustache.

Considering the pronouncements and the Nazi/CSA and fascist types that permeate the militant Aryan Christian movement we would be the ones in such detention camps and they, the hard line white Christians, would be the guards!(If they even bother since summary execution or clean ups of toxic sites could get a little work out of us before we die a slower horrible death.)

Yes I have been following the trek of Hal Lindsay and how he modifies his statements when his sure fire prophecy explanations turn out wrong. You should look at Irvin Baxter too. He is claiming that the "Seeds of Armageddon" had been laid on November 29, 2012 with the UN supposedly saying that the Palestinians can have E. Jerusalem as their capitol. "A second Holocaust of Jews" there by Hamas etc., and they would have to "run" to be saved etc...
