If you thought it was beginning to be safe for your children to listen to talk radio, you might need to learn about Dr. Larry Bates.  A self described expert on the economy, investments and the stock market, Bates has gathered a binge following.  His recent book, The New Economic Disorder, is making its rounds through Christian radio, television, and internet posts.  Bates provides the lovely prospect to his readers and listeners that he nation is heading for economic disaster.  He has teamed up with Larry Pratt of Gunowners of America to prepare the country for the certain downfall in the nation that is just around the corner and will make the Great Depression mild by comparison.  Those who promote the prospect of a waning Religious Right might do well to check out Larry.
Dr. Larry Bates provides a link between the right wing of the GOP, Christian end of times prophets, and laissez-faire economic advocates.  Knoxville news organizations note Bates spoke to the Tennessee Tea Party gathering.  Larry is a former Tennessee House of Represenatives member.  He and his son operate a broadcasting program giving their slant to "Christian news".  He is the CEO of the Information Radio Network and IRN USA Radio News.  His book, economic views and comments appear on the radar of much of what gets shared around the nation through right wing Christian media.  I received his book through the avenue of Christian television.
In his book, economic advisor Bates claims the Federal Reserve has ruined the country.  pg. 2  You can cash in on the scam yourself if you buy his book and follow his directions.  The truth, according to the former congressman, is that a group of international bankers control the economy. pg. 13  You can apparently do nothing about this according to Bates, so you might as well go along with the scam.  The author says the Federal Reserve is like Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to others.  pg. 48  His view on economics brings the conclusion that the government has no money. It can only be an agent of wealth transfer.   pg. 212  He feeds fuel to the right's claims that welfare bums are the agents of socialism. Democrats, he writes are socialists, as well as the National Education Association.  pgs. 161, 52.
Anti-Semitic insinuations abound in his work. He writes of a conspiring secret Illuminati that rules America and wants to ruin it.  pg. 61  International Banker conspiracy myths abound in the work.  pg. 13  The Jewish Rothschild family is mentioned going along with the banker fraud and international move to control wealth.  pg. 48  He even wrote that both sides in World War II were financed by New York bankers. pg. 59
A web site known as dangerousintersection.org ran an article in May regarding Bates and his KSSL St. Louis radio program.  An attorney, who writes for the site went to one of Bates' conferences in his area and found an intriguing sideshow.  At the meeting Christian nation pamphlets abounded.  Special medical cures were displayed.  Fuel additives were sold promising to increase your miles per gallon.  End of time products were on hand to help one survive in the coming biblical predicted economic upheaval.  At the gathering Bates proposed that he next election in the nation was the most important ever and it was over class warfare. He told the audience that economic and political elitists ran the nation.  He advised the paying participants that the Federal Reserve wants to rob the American middle class.  He has even uncovered that the famous War of the World's radio broadcast was actually staged by the government to see how the public would handle the crisis.
Other political advise was given, like the one that Hillary cannot be President because she is a woman and the head must be a man.  He told the crowd that Obama is a radical Muslim.
Bates shared in his book and the conference his love for silver.  Saving silver is important for the disaster.  He sees silver as a cure all for both the economy and your health. He touts ingesting silver into your body to cure what ails you. He proclaims that druggists are actually witches.  Personally, I found his medical advice about as valuable as his economic.

Display:
Jerry Falwell's magazine as well as militia-type publications often contain natural cures and get
well schemes.  They are often promoted with  ads reading, "find out what your doctor knows and won't tell you."
