This comes from the local newspaper, which was conservative before and took a hard right turn after it was sold.

Hint: Sarah Palin's name is on it!  (It's also connected to Trump.)

cks-likely-to-make-liberals-squirm

I recognized nearly every name on the list, and I know that several of the hard-core dominionists in this state are also mentioned as being in line for posts in his administration (like Pam Bondi).

The last few days have been terrifying to us.  There was racist graffiti spraypainted on buildings at my school, and racist hate incidents happening on campus (our President sent out a letter to everyone, and I knew immediately that bad things were happening but not what until a couple of days later).  I've been getting updates from the SPLC and it's happening all over the place.  I've even heard of a few examples of religious bigotry based hate crimes (and graffiti) taking place - and that worries me even more because I know how the "media" doesn't like to think about the religious aspect and under-reports it.  (Can't have those never-do-wrong 'Good Christians' look bad {like the reality we see}, dont'cha know?)

The dominionists are filling the spaces around him and I expect to hear more and more of their agenda being pushed.

I'm worried that our local dominionists will be embolded by this and we suffer more - at the least, having "the Gospel" blasted at us from radios through the fence is a real possibility (they HAVE ranted at us across our fence several  times in the past).  Our hard-core dominionist neighbors don't like it that they have an "atheist" (I'm not - neither of us are) "Librul" living in their midst.  (They insist I HAVE to be atheist because I accept evolution as a fact and and am accepting of the Other, even friendly with those they hate.)

I'm worried sick for this country. People I know have predicted that Trump might be assassinated because he might balk at some of the things they (the dominionists) have advocated and fought for.  I worry that someone who will be disenfranchised by the goals of the dominionists would do something STUPID (giving Trump and the dominionists another Reichstag).  I've also read prognostications that he will be impeached almost before he enters office... and look who would then take the reins in either case.  More and more it's been a win-win situation for them, and a major loss for freedom and the rest of society (if not for life itself).

I'm also really afraid for some of my friends.  They had to flee this hellhole because they're gay/lesbian.  Trump's election may eventually mean that they won't have ANY safe place - and those I know who are married might have their marriage and relationship denied them, maybe even outlawed.  I think it possible that sexual minorities will be declared against the law - outlawed.

For generations, we (American Indians in the Southeast) were outlawed.  I know a bit of what it feels like, even though I didn't learn about my heritage (one of those the dominionists are hostile to unless they can turn us into trophies for their wall) until it became legal for us to just exist - in 1980.  It's not fun (especially when you realize that you could have had all of your rights denied and thrown in prison because you traveled AS A LITTLE CHILD to visit your grandma)!

I also had the "gay" label put on me a few times even though it's wrong.  The thing my life has taught me is that they don't care about truth - even the hint of 'sin' (as they define it) is enough!  (The local megachurches blocked me from getting a good job because of that false rumor, back when I was single and looking.  They also may have been blocking any attempts I made to date.)

What they will bring is hell on earth for a lot of innocent people!

Our only hope is that Trump has a major change of heart (unlikely) and is able to avoid being destroyed by the people who put him in power after he starts resisting them.  (This should be a wakeup call to all of those who have INSISTED that the religious right was dying out - unless we get a miracle, they've won!)

Display:
With the Plutocrats and their Dominionist partners (some are both) their hard work has paid off so far. Taking the long road to win. The short road in 1934 failed for want of a General to lead them. They picked a patriot who wasn't a believer. The FBI had no idea what was going on. If it weren't for that we could have suffered a second civil war and have been fighting it when the Japanese attack our major naval base at Pearl Harbor in a preemptive strike to keep us out of it. It failed, but if we were in a shooting war it might have changed our response to it. We are in a precarious situation now even though most people would not want a Dominionist type society more do now than then. Also they have been organizing and infiltrating the 7 Foundations of our society to either uproot them or turn them to the Dominionist way of thinking and acting.

The way Donald John Trump won was eerie to me. Just didn't make any sense. For the first time I actually thought of some preternatural effect. The way people simply said they ignored anything about Trump but his so called "business acumen".

Ever since I saw "The Handmaid Tale's" movie (1990) then read Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name I have been researching the streak of fascist theocracy running through our country since its beginnings. This is the worst I have seen it, while I read that Main Stream Corporate News poo-poos Dominionism and how many are part of it and similar movements who all want one thing, getting rid of the secular and those who are on their round up lists. Such groups always have long lists of those to be killed or just rounded up and put to work, maybe as un-men and un-women to work out our shortened lives in cleaning up toxic spills or picking cotton. Segregation of groups into Ethno-states like in old South Afrikaa bantustands. Those who want that agree with the whites and they want to rule those areas like fiefdoms. I fear some version of that will happen even without a "President's Day Massacre" to lock down and end the Constitutional Republic in such an obvious manner. It might be done this way dismantled from within. Or even Trump might be the sacrificial goat so they get rid of him, he is a martyr, and some kind of martial law can go into effect. Ramming through unpopular bills would be ideal for them. It happened before, right after the 9/11/2001 attack and it could happen now.

I don't want to be spinning such things as serious as opposed to use in political fiction listed under "Dystopian" which is already where my fiction is going. Affected by Margaret Atwood and she did her research well way back in the 1980's. It has always been there threatening us. So far it has failed. Will it fall apart now when they have so many things working in their favor and most of them haven't the scruples to be against it?

It is times like these that try people's souls. To reword a quote from that renegade Thomas Paine. It will be trying more than that. There is an acute observation made about 100 years ago that is relevant now:

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -C.S. Lewis

This list has very well known names and every one can easily recognize them. This racism must be abolished and I don`t why people talk about skin color and not talk about the color blood. As superiorpapers.com articles suggests They must know that all are humans only has right to live at any place in this world.
