Marxism in America is a short video produced by The Oak Initiative, a relatively new Religious Right group organize by Rick Joyner, founder of MorningStar Ministries.  The video was disseminated across the country, through local Oak Initiative chapters and promoted on many websites of various Tea Party groups prior to the election.
See Part One and Part Two of "Dog Whistle for Prayer Warriors - Sarah Palin as Victim of Blood Libel" for more on The Oak Initiative and the Prophecy/New World Order Conspiracy narratives promoted by sectors of the Religious Right.

The video helps to explain a growing worldview among the Religious Right and Tea Partiers and the associated fear and paranoia.  Many believe that Christian Patriots are headed for a holocaust at the hands of a "dangerous Marxist/Leftist/Homosexual/Islamic coalition," as warned by Louis Sheldon, another board member of The Oak Initiative, and founder of the Traditional Values Coalition. The following transcript summarizes beliefs held by many in the movement and the alternate reality in which they are living - one in which President Obama and much of our government is the enemy.

Transcript of "Marxism in America

(Ret.) Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin:

"We here a lot about Marxism and Socialism and there are those, particularly in the media who say that we should tone down our rhetoric about socialism, because we're not moving toward socialism.  Well the reality is, I'm a special forces officer, I'm a green beret and I've studied Marxist insurgency.  It was part of my training and the things that  I know that have been done in every Marxist insurgency are being done in America today.

The first thing that has happened when people like Fidel Castro have moved their societies toward Marxism is they've nationalized major sectors of their economy. Folks, that's what the bailouts were. Nationalizing major sectors of the economy.  The second thing they've done is they've redistributed wealth.  We've heard enough about the redistribution of wealth.  And in fact the man that was appointed to handle Medicare and Medicaid, after he was seated in the office, actually stood up and said publicly that healthcare was nothing but the redistribution of wealth.

The third thing they do is they discredit their opposition.  I've never been so angry with my government as when the Department of Homeland Security memorandum went around to law enforcement all over the country, saying that the future threats to America were right wing Christian groups, pro-life groups, Second Amendment groups and returning veterans. I'm still angry about this. But it never said Islamic terrorists.  That's discrediting the opposition, the very groups that would stand up and protest the things they see happening in this country.

The fourth thing that has been done in the model is censorship.  It's kind of irrelevant in the media because most of the main stream media is very much on the Left and is already very much in favor of the things we see happening in America.  The hate crimes legislation that has been passed is actually targeted at pastors.  It's  targeted at pastors so they don't get up in the pulpit and talk about things like homosexuality and same sex marriage, or about the realities of Islam and the danger that Islam presents to America. The hate crimes legislation is meant to suppress them, to censor them, which is part of the Marxist model.

The next thing that was done, in every society was, that gun ownership had to be controlled.  We hold the Second Amendment to be very important to us as Americans, the right to bear arms, but in a Marxist movement you have to control that gun ownership.  I don't know if you've seen it but there has been a decree by the administration, by the president and the secretary of state, saying that our president will sign the United Nations small arms treaty, which is about how we will buy, sell and control individual private weapons.  Folks, that means the United Nations, an international body, will decide how you and I as Americans can buy and sell our weapons, how we control those weapons, whose authorized to have those weapons and where they are. This is a dangerous trend.

And the final thing that is done in a Marxist model is societies like Cuba, like Venezuela today, like Russia under Stalin, or China under Mao Tse Tung, things they have done - the final thing, has been actually to develop a constabulary force, a force that can control the population.

You say, "Well, we don't have that."  Well, let me remind you that prior to the election the president stood up and said that if elected he would have a national civilian security force that would be as large as, and as well equipped as, the United states military.

For what?

Remember Hitler had the brown shirts and in the night of the long knives even Hitler got scared of the brown shirts and killed thousands of them. Well, so you say, are there any signs that that's actually happened. The truth is, yes. If you read the healthcare legislation which, by the way, no one in Washington has read, but if you read the healthcare legislation, it's actually in the healthcare legislation.  There are paragraphs in the healthcare legislation that talk about the commissioning of officers in time of a national crisis to work directly for the president.  It's laying the groundwork for a constabulary force that will control the population in America.  You need to understand that this is happening in America and its fits the model that has been used when societies move to Marxism.

It should be a matter of great concern.  Find out more about it.  Look at what's happening around you and then get out and do something to help stop this.    Use the constitutional tools that our founding fathers gave us.  Let your congressmen know how you feel about this.  Be a pain in their neck by constantly e-mailing and calling them.  Find candidates that represent your values as a Constitution-believing American and then get out and get active in some of these movements that are trying to reverse what is happening in America.  May God bless you.

For a guy who is trained in what Marxist insurgency does he is myopic- the dominionist movement is adopting most of the same tactics the Soviet-inspired movements were doing, down to the T! Israel has many of the healthcare policies Boykin speaks against here, and still the dominionists don't chide Israel for having similar policies. Dominionists support Israel to a high degree, as has been documented here. Ignoring Islamic terror groups? Some dominionist/Republicans have been cozy with Saudi nobility and people close to Islamofascist and neofascist movements around the world (go to http://www.spitfirelist.com for more info)? Some of the right wing movements he mentions as being targeted go so far as calling for policies that would leave the Constitution hanging by a thread- the same document he has sworn to protect! That is why law enforcement is worried! It is him that is censoring from us the true purpose of his movement- to usurp the Constitution! And he is ignorant about what the hate crimes amendment really is. I am pro gun rights myself, and I think here he is right. I think that is ironic that he, the dominionist semifascist, is pro gun rights when fascist Hitler's gun laws disarmed Jews and other non-Germans. (Kind of like the bogus Lenin quote- "we will hang the capitalists by the rope they have sold us"). Obama himself also signed a law allowing gun carrying in national parks- and Boykin does not devote a single line to that here. Most movements that are dictatorial or totalitarian disarm the people. Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Mao, Chiang Kai Shek, in Uganda, Rwanda, Guatemala, etc.) Christian Dominionism is an exception, but I think if it gains control it will try to disarm non dominionists. (see the gun control genocide chart here - http://jpfo.org/pdf02/genocide-chart.pdf ) Also there is no sign of a civilian security force being built up yet- and if it will be built up, is the dominionist movement so feeble and weak (and lacking in clever ex special forces members) that it can't infiltrate the supposed new security force like it is trying to do with the military? He is after all, a Green Beret, trained in counterinsurgency, propaganda methods and training of guerrilla forces to counter communists. What may be worrying- as the Huffington Post has noted (esp. Naomi Wolf)- is what happens when the country can go into martial law. If a dominionist military and government leadership declare martial law- the constitution will really be in a thread- and it will be all the non-dominionists that will be housed in the supposed FEMA camps.
